The first really great portrait I made From Apalachicola Bay. James was a prize fighter and later one of the best oystermen on the bay. He was 87 years old in this photo and I never got to get him a copy of this image. He passed away before I could get back down.
I am looking forward to seeing how Mom’s journey continues .
