This is probably the best portrait I will ever capture. I was in Eastpoint Florida in 2010 with some artist friends taking photos. I got the chance to photograph James in his home. At the time he was the oldest oysterman around the bay, he was 87 years old. I walked in with Paula Sanders, who was living with James to take of him. She asked if I could photograph him and he said yes. He then sat down with his banana and the little dog jumped up in his lap. I took three frames not really realizing what I had. It was a year later that I finally started showing the image. I don't think I will ever get a better image.
